Plugins and Projects

My most recent work has been to create a badge generator for last.fm.

I've created some plugins for WordPress. Support for these plugins is happily provided via the permalink page for each plugin.

  1. u-mail
u-mail lets WordPress bloggers change the default WordPress@yourdomain.com e-mail setting.
  2. vi-postlogger
postlogger for WordPress captures $POST variables and is useful in exploit forensics
  3. Author-Stats
Displays some text based on your WordPress author's post count.
  4. WP-Noshit
WP-Noshit is a simple profanity filter for submitted comments.
  5. WP-Zeitgeist
A zeitgeist is a visual representation of search trends. WP-Zeitgeist is a fun and useful toy.
  6. WP-Deadbolt
WP-Deadbolt provides a way for admins to block certain e-mail addresses from being used during registration.
  7. wp-clickfix*
wp-clickfix is a quick and plainless way to fix WordPress bug 2889.
  8. wp-countdrafts
wp-countdrafts is a plugin for WordPress that counts your drafts so that you can display the count in your sidebar or something. I wrote it in response to a request on the WordPress support forums.
  9. wp-chunk
wp-chunk gracefully shortens links within comments.
  10. wp-last.fm-cloud
wp-lastfm-cloud is a WordPress plugin that displays your Overall Favorite Artists from last.fm in a cloud display similar to a tag cloud.
  11. wp-leftycats*
wp-leftycats is a WordPress plugin that provides an alternative to wp_list_cats, moving your feed image to the left of your category names.
  12. wp-newest_user
wp-newest_user is a plugin for WordPress that will display the name of your blog' s most recently registered member.
  13. wp-shortstat country cloud*
wp-shortstat country cloud is a WordPress plugin that works with Shaun Inman's shortstat to display your country data in a cloud.
  14. wp-silktide
wp-silktide is a plugin for WordPress that simplifies using Silktide Sitescore on your blog.
  15. wp-simplecode
wp-simplecode is a simple plugin for WordPress that takes standard markup and processes it for use within code examples.

I've also contributed a few stand alone WordPress "utilities":

  1. WordPress Emergency URL Changer Thing
This script provides an alternative method to correcting changes made to a WordPress install that has the incorrect values for the home and siteurl.
  2. WP-Symlinker
This script provides a way to create the symlink necessary for using wp-cache.
  3. Emergency
The quickest and easiest way to reset your WordPress password
